Together, Wi Spy 2.4x and Chanalyzer 3.0 enable both business and home users to visualise, troubleshoot, and optimise their Wi-Fi networks. Chanalyzer offers the unique ability to identify signatures of specific electronic devices that may be interfering with any 2.4 GHz wireless network signal, enabling improved installation of wireless devices and faster troubleshooting.

One of Wi Spy's most powerful features is the ability to record data to a file and then play the file back. Recordings can be replayed in a separate tab to allow comparison with real-time data as well as other recordings . Recordings can also be played in fast forward (in case real-time gets boring).

Wi Spy is fully functional while playing a recording; traces can be turned on/off, history can be cleared, etc. This allows more in-depth analysis of issues as well as the ability to email traces to other people for analysis.
